Ringabel [Bravely Default : Flying Fairy]
My favorite costume and character from BDFF! This character has great dialog and an amusing personality. I spent a long time looking for materials but the best color and weight I found was in synthetic felt. The main body of this costume is made from lined felt with a faux fur collar, PVC trim and metal hook closures with an aluminum cut detail. The pants were made from a dark navy slack material with side pockets and a tall true waist, waist band. The straps around my hip were made from felt, and were attached with fabric covered plastic, garter clip and fabric buttons(without fabric) sanded down. Gloves were sewn with PU coated spandex for stretch and a tight fit. The boots were simply modified with the diagonal lines down the front of the shoe put in place with clear thread.
The book was made with the thanks of my friends. The book cover is real leather with hand cut aluminum details and joints. The inner pages were made with sketch paper and bound to the book with recycled leather and real leather reinforcement points.
