ORDER DETAILS

 


1. Specify what you are looking to commission or what you are seeking.
I am currently open to these ranges of specialized commissions.

 

  • Replica Costumes
    - Cosplay costumes based off animation, comics, games or live action characters.
  •  Replica and Original Props/Accessories*
    - Designed by me for customer's project and specific proposals
    - Based off animation, comics, games or live actions characters
    *Until further notice, cast resin weapon commissions will not be available. This may not apply to small accessories so please email for further inquiries and availability. Subject to change so check back to see any updates.
  • Original Costumes/Apparel
    - Designed by me for customer's project and specific proposals.**
    - Based off customer's personal designs and specifications.
    ** Original designs will incur extra charges covering the the research, sketches and design process prior to the execution of the costume.

 

 

2. Provide extensive reference images and specific preference details.
The more information I have the better, regardless of commission type. The list below exemplifies what I would require.

  • Character Name
  • Series
  • Back, front, side costume high resolution reference images
  • Prop/Accessories high resolution images from various angles
  • Precise color/material preference***
    ***Please state if sending your own fabric/materials and it will be quoted accordingly. Shipment costs of materials will be covered by customer.
  • Any extra additional changes/preferences which are not represented in reference images provided

3.  I will need your exact body measurements. Please refer to the charts below.

These charts cover the basic measurements I require for a full costume set. I may request for additional measurements based on the personal commissions requested.

Please provide me with all the necessary measurements and state if it was measured in centimeters or inches.

Do not repost the charts above without inquiry and statement of your intent/use. Thank you for respecting my request.

4. Please include which state and country you're from.
This will enable me to include shipping price quotations in the final price details.
Until further notice I do not accept commissions coming from Italy.

5. Please state your deadline in (Month/Day/Year) format.
I recommend a date of at least a week prior to when you'd require the commission to allow for some leeway time for shipment. International customers, please do include an extra 2 - 3 weeks in your deadline projection for customs and arrival of international shipment delay.

 IMPORTANT  NOTE ON COMMISSION TIME FRAME AND RUSH ORDERS

I typically request a 3 month period prior to the customer's aforementioned deadline for all commissions. This is to allow sufficient time for your order to be completed within the high quality standard I maintain for my work. Anything under a 3 month period will be considered a 'Rush Order'.

6. Rush Order additional charges.
$50+ will be added to orders requested within the 2 - 3 months time frame.
$100+ will be added to orders requested within 1 - 2 months time frame.
$150+ will be added to orders requested at and under the 1 month time frame.

In the case that a customer should request a 'simpler' (subject to evaluation) commission under said rush order time frame, feel free to email me for a quotation. There will still be an applicable rush order charge, however the price may vary depending on the complexity of the commission.

The addition of a rush order charge within said time frames are non negotiable.

7. Specifically for customers in the San Francisco Bay Area, or those willing to travel here. 
As I am currently based in the downtown SF Bay Area, the option to be personally measured and get one personal fitting for your commission is available for San Francisco residents/those willing to commute to San Francisco. Should you require directions and possible travel options, feel free to inquire!

There are some commissions which I choose to turn down due to the nature of being unable to fit the customer properly (for e.g. certain bodysuits or body fit form armor. Subject to discussion of course), but if you are able to come for a fit session I will open up the option of said commission.

Please state in your order details 'I am from the Bay Area/willing to travel to the Bay Area for the fitting and/or measurement option' and we shall discuss further from there. 

PAYMENT

Once details and pricing have been finalized, I will send you an invoice specifying the breakdown of the costs of said commission/s. The invoice will NOT have a final quotation for shipment of item/s, however an estimate quotation will be included in the response email.

Payment Methods Accepted (please specify in your email which you prefer)

  • Paypal (Customers may send a credit/debit payment without a Paypal account as well. See here)

    The extra PayPal transaction fee (should they be incurred) will be added to your total.
    US Account =  2.9 %
    Non-US Account = 3.9 %
    Transactions clear almost immediately.
  • Bank Transfer : I use Bank of America. Details will be emailed to you accordingly. Depending on your bank provider, transactions may take 3 to 5 business days to clear.
  • Check payment : Commissions will only be started once the check clears. Please take note of this as the date your payment clears is what holds your place in line.

Each commission is subject to a non-refundable deposit which is due within 3 days of receiving the invoice. No exceptions will be made. The deposit amount will be quoted on a case by case basis.

The rest of the payment is due at the completion of each commission, prior to shipment. Unpaid commissions will NOT be shipped out. No exceptions.

Commissions which remain unpaid after a 2-week period will be subject to either a penalty fee or will be resold/kept at my discretion. If you are unavailable or unable to pay within the time frame mentioned, please notify me beforehand as I am open to negotiation within reason. Thank you for your understanding.

SHIPPING and/or LOCAL PICK-UP

All United States/local orders will be sent via USPS Priority Mail (2 to 5 business days). Express shipping options are available upon request at additional cost to the customer.

International Orders will be sent via USPS International Priority Mail (6 to 10 business days or more). Express shipping options are available upon request at additional cost to the customer.

All orders will automatically include tracking. Insurance is available upon request.

Shipping Quotations & Payment

The final shipping quote will be invoiced at time of the commission's completion. While I estimate most commission/s final weight and size fairly accurately, the exact amount might occasionally be subject to change. Some commissions may also incur 'odd shipping size' charges.

Items will only be sent once payment for shipping and commission have cleared. Please take into account the shipping duration of your item in your payment method of choice; this will ensure your item will reach you on your desired date.

Local Pick-up

I will only entertain local pick up within the San Francisco Bay Area and my location of preference is Union Square. If you choose this option, you will be required to show photo I.D. upon collection. We wouldn't want some random person claiming your commission now, would we? : )

No photo I.D. means no handing over of commissions. No exceptions. A signature to confirm collection of order will also be required.

If you choose to have a representative collect your item for you instead, please notify me of their details beforehand. The same photo I.D. check and signature will be required.

I will entertain pick-ups at local conventions (if I am in attendance) with the same requirements. This option is only available at my convenience and discretion. I will NOT entertain requests to drop off commissions at specific addresses. Thank you for your understanding.

POLICIES

All commissions are subject to the understanding that customers have read and agreed to all the details above and the additional policies below. 

  • I DO NOT accept Returns or Issue Refunds. Due to the highly personalized nature of my works, I will not accept any returns. The highest quality of work is assured - should you be displeased with your order, please contact me and we will see what can be worked out.
  • I DO NOT accept returns on items damaged during shipment, neither can I take responsibility for it.  I will be open to the possibility of repairing any damage to the extent of my abilities provided the customer covers shipment both ways. I must be notified of any damage the item might have incurred within 3 days of item arrival at your home. All shipments are tracked and are on record. Photo proof is also required in the email.
  • Cancellation of orders are allowed. Deposits that have been paid are non-refundable and any materials/items bought or used towards your commission prior to the cancellation date will not be subject to customer's ownership. The return of W.I.P items is negotiable: please contact me and we can discuss the matter further.
  • I reserve the right to reject and cancel orders at my discretion, should certain situations arise, i.e. if I am ill, etc., resulting in my being unable to fulfill the requirements ordered by the customer. In such cases, customer is eligible for a FULL REFUND.
