I have a two year Associates of Applied Science in Apparel Design from Seattle Central Community College (SCCC). Since our school was located in Seattle, a heavy emphasis was put on technical apparel; or outerwear. But more then that, we were trained to be able to construct anything we designed, so that we as designers would understand how manufacturing would make our designs. Thanks to my education I can fulfill a variety of rolls within an apparel company.
